“I am with an international group of producers who have been asked by the Peace, Art & Music organisation at the behest of Mayor Kazumi Matsui of Hiroshima to produce a 24-hour live-streamed broadcast that will be transmitted from Hiroshima on August 6th to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the atomic bombing.

This broadcast will follow the rising of the sun from east to west travelling from country to country promoting the importance of hearing each other across all political, racial, religious borders and learning to value and appreciate our common humanity.  We will do this through art, music, song and dance.  

We want to demonstrate that together we can build a global society that truly cares about its future – to show that we yearn for unity, equality – a planet and environment that is safe for us to live in with social justice for everyone. People everywhere are hungry for hope – and inspiration.  Music and art is a very good way to transcend our anger and connect with each other and fill our hearts with hope again.”
