  1. Contact us to let us know you’re interested.
  2. Attend a few club meetings – get a feel for how the club operates and meet our members – we’re a friendly bunch!
  3. Volunteer in a club project or event – see the club in action
  4. We’ll take you through the benefits and responsibilities of membership, and answer any questions you may have.
  5. Submit an application form.
  6. We notify our members that you wish to join.
  7. If you application is succesful, our club leaders will invite you to become a member.
  8. We welcome you to our enthusiastic team of Putney Rotarians, making our community a better place, together!

Is Rotary fun?

Yes!

What does it cost to be a member?

The main cost is your time – an hour a week for our club meeting, and time spent working on projects and events. There’s also a membership fee which covers costs like our meeting venue, our website and our affiliation to Rotary International – we keep the cost as low as possible, and costs less than a pint of beer per week!

How old do you have to be to join?

Rotary is for everyone. You can join from age 18 and there’s no upper age limit.

If you’re under 30, you may be interested in Rotaract – check out our local club Wandsworth Rotaract.

Are women allowed to join?

Absolutely! More than half our club are women and the past, current and next 2 Presidents of the club are female.
